Just a heads up, the Target near me has the Xbox 360 VGA adaptor cable on clearance for only 12 dollars! This is a great way to get high definition gaming if you don't have an HDTV. I was playing last night on my 20" LCD monitor, and it looked fantastic!

Also, I now have Halo 3!

edit: As usual, Google adwords is picking up replies to this, and is serving appropriate ads. There's one up there right now for an Xbox VGA adaptor for $59.95 plus shipping!

Envy, envy envy. First I'd have to have a 360.

and a 20" LCD...

That was this past year's Christmas present!
I really wanted the 22 inch.....

Ah, yep. That's the only way I'm getting a 22 inch LCD, and then only if the giver is me.

Took me long enough, there's no rush.

Oh, nice. I'll have to look for that. I love my large screen and s-video, but I wonder what Halo looks like in HD.

Also needed: A dreamcast VGA box.

Noticably different actually, yeah.

Its weird, my TV has non high-def RGB component cables. It can't even display progressive DVD output, and yet it has this YPbPr analog input. I'm not entirely sure what the point is.

my previous (non HD) TV had that too. I'm not sure why, but it was noticably higher quality than the plain old RCA ones. Maybe it's just a cleaner signal?

I guess its higher bandwidth. You have 3 times the cabling to transmit the same signal. Its what I'm using now for the Xbox, but I haven't compared it to standard RCA.

When the guy came to install my digital cable, he wanted to connect to the tv (with audio) via co-ax!!!! I quickly set him straight. Its using S-Video now, but the box has output for component and HDMI as well.

oh, how could I have missed it! Obviously upgrading to component eliminates 97% of all digital jitter!

Of course! Now where did I put my $800 solid mahogany volume knob.....

Oh my mistake, I took it.

I was hoping it would resolve my ongoing issues with digital jitter. ;)

Did you use your cable cooker first? Also, better get a cable elevator to keep them off the floor.
